Mission Statement
The mission of the English, Communications, and Humanities Organization of North Carolina (since its beginning as NCCEI in 1972) has been to encourage and support effective teaching in writing, the humanities, and speech; promote and provide opportunities for professional development; and advocate and recommend policies for professional issues.
Any current member of CEI may nominate an individual for this award. Nominee must be a member in good standing. The nominee need not have served on the CEI Board of Directors.
